Overview
Format Fitter – Figma plugin:
I recently saved myself half a day’s work by doing something I’d never done before: building a custom Figma plugin from scratch. Using Gemini 3 Pro as my co-pilot, I developed a tool to instantly repurpose creative assets across social formats while factoring in safe zones and element shuffling. I used Nike as an example and it’s still very much a work in progress (and took a few hundred 'learning clicks' to get to that final 'one click'), but it's a perfect example of how I use AI to automate the heavy lifting so I can stay focused on the big ideas.
Ground Me – Android app:
Driven by a personal mission to better manage panic attacks, I developed GroundMe, an Android application dedicated to the "5-4-3-2-1" grounding technique. What began as an experimental collaboration with Gemini quickly evolved into a rigorous design and development journey, where I learned to navigate Android Studio and decipher Kotlin to build a semi-functional, empathetic tool from scratch. Taking aesthetic cues from the calming world of Headspace, I integrated soft, mindful illustrations from Weavy to create an interface that feels like a supportive companion. This project has now transcended its "one-off" origins; I am currently refining the entire UI/UX and building a bespoke brand identity with original illustrations to turn this vision into a fully-fledged, professional-grade digital product.
The demo below is the first attempt using Gemini 3 Pro and Android Studio (using Kotlin). The next grab is generating illustrations on Weavy using Nano Banana 2. And the final grab is using Claude to test out building a second version (using JSX and React).
