My Story
I’m a West Londoner born and raised, with a Portuguese soul. My career technically began on a Sunday afternoon when I was seven years old, after my brother sat me down in front of a Windows 95 PC to teach me Photoshop 5.0.
That DIY spirit followed me from a council flat in Ladbroke Grove to a degree in Marketing Communications – a background that remains my secret weapon for creating design that doesn't just look good, but actually performs.
Since 2013, I’ve operated as a creative polymath. I’ve shipped hundreds (possibly thousands) of commercial emails, art-directed illustration agencies, and built "first of its kind" digital experiences like horizontal-scrolling long-reads.
I’m a firm believer in clean, tidy, and accessible UI, but I’m always ready to break the design mould for the right brief. Whether I’m tinkering with AI tools or obsessing over a pixel-perfect layout, my goal is the same: high-impact work that refuses to leave anyone behind.
Creating since 1992
Here’s a rare look at my very first attempt at UI (with a little help from mum and dad), prioritising a clean layout, a bold colour palette, and trying to figure out why the user (me) hasn't mastered the stacking sequence yet.

Sometimes I stop designing long enough to actually talk about it.
I’ve had the chance to feature in a few industry blog posts where I dive into my 'Polymath' way of working, my Portuguese roots, and how I transitioned from marketing student to art director/designer.
If you’re curious about the 'why' behind my work (or just want to hear more about that Photoshop 5.0 obsession), you can check out my featured interviews below.

Fun Fact
Am I secretly a movie star? Almost. I had a brief moment of fame in the NOW TV annual and Christmas ad campaigns starring Katherine Ryan and Ashh Blackwood.
While my heart belongs to design, I couldn't resist the chance to step in front of the lens for this one. It gave me a whole new appreciation for how much work goes into a 30-second spot — and it makes a great story!
